Torre La Mata or simply La Mata is a small town located in the northern part of Torrevieja along the Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante in southeast Spain. with its long promenade and sandy beach, it is an excellent place for a holiday in Spain and unlike a lot of towns on the Costa Blanca, it still retains a Spanish identity.
The village of La Mata is a developing tourist centre and one of the more popular Spanish villages on the Mediterranean coast. It still retains that special “Spanish” feel and is in a relaxed environment.
